Salmonella Culture

This test looks for types of Salmonella.
If found the laboratory will define the Salmonella and define if it is zoonotic, (Zoonotic is when the bacteria can be transferred from animals to human)
A 5 day collection of fresh faeces that can go in the pot provided, collect daily and keep cool.

All cultures are carried out by a UK Laboratory.
Results take approximately 7 days once they have arrived at our chosen laboratory.
You will receive your results from the laboratory.
Any antibiotics required will have to be prescribed by a Veterinarian.
Results are given by the Pigeon Testing Centre, however telephone consultations are available with a vet once results are given this can be arranged for a small fee with the vet.
